The opening clip introduces the name of the artist, the colour pink connotes youth and femininity. It is clear that Marina wants to portray this throughout as she dances around throughout and sings about a Primadonna ‘girl’ showing the youth and femininity which is shown throughout the video.

There is then various shots of Marina, where she is sat in a bed, with a pink top on – further showing the feminine theme throughout the video. Her long lower eyelashes show a seductive and flirty side to her as it is clear she wants to look pretty and attractive.

The shot of Marina with a Chandelier being the main focus shows the luxurious lifestyle she is living, clearly suggesting she is enjoying the lifestyle as she is looking around at the area.

The close up of Marina’s face, with her red lips which connotes love and lust, as well as power. This further suggests the ‘Primadonna’ aka female protagonist, as the red draws attention to her lips and the words she is saying giving her power to the viewer as they are intrigued in her every word.

In the video, she holds up a camera to the camera. This is another example of how she shows power, as she is almost in control, as she is the main focus of the shot but it also seems like she is filming the audiences.

This low angle shot shows her in a position of power also, and the fur shawl suggests her wealth and status.
